A project for Lahaina by an all-women, all-Lahaina team of creatives.

Myself, along with the creative minds of Haley (@haleyaki), a Kamehameha Schools Kapālama grad and Britt of (@kaimahie_) , came together to design a pareo for the community. In efforts to support our paddling community, we are giving back to Napili Canoe Club.

The overall design is a modern take on a Hawaiian quilt with symbols of canoe, paddles, Maui, and the abundance of Ulu trees in Lahaina. All elements come together to represent the resiliency of the families who continue to unite, support, and grow despite the losses they have endured.
